Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai by Train
Pick up at your proposed Hotel at 20:00 then transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for boarding to Lao Cai by express train at 21:10. Overnight in the A/C soft sleeper wooden Cabin. (4 people/cabin or 2 people/cabin upon request).
Day 1: Lao Cai - Sapa - Ta Van Village: 6 hours trekking, 15km, 3 villages. (B, L, D)
6:00 AM - Arrive to Lao Cai train station. Welcome by your local guide and driver. Take a drive of 40km to your hotel in Sapa town to leave some luggages if you don't want to carry it all during the trek. Have breakfast and relax.
Depart Sapa at 9:30 AM. Go down hill to the valley. Cross Muong Hoa River to get to the other mountainside for 3 villages of the H'mong and the Dzay. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the home-stay. Stay the night at a local family in Ta Van village. .
Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Ban Ho Village: 7 hours trekking, 16km, 2 villages. (B, L, D)
Breakfast and leave the family for the next village. Visit the Red Dzao in Giang Ta Chai village by way of terraced paddy fields and bamboo forests. Enjoy the natural beauty of Silver Waterfall and Rattan Bridge. Cross the river and continue going to Ban Ho village where the Tay people settle down. On the way to Ban Ho, there is more chance to see the Red Dzao and the Black H'mong in Su Pan village. Spend the night in Ban Ho village at a Tay Family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the home-stay.

Day 3: Ban Ho Village – Nam Toong - Sapa: 3 hours trekking, 7km (B, L, D)
Breakfast with the family and leave the village for a waterfall discovered by French people. Enjoy the view, swimming and return to Ban Ho to visit the people in the village. Say goodbye to the family and get up to the main road where to take transfer back to Sapa. Lunch on the way and dinner at restaurant in Sapa. free at leisure to explore the town until transfer to Lao Cai railway station to catch the overnight train back to Hanoi.
• Overnight on the train . Arrive in Hanoi early in the morning next day. Back to your hotel on your own. (A morning taxi to the old quarter from the station usually costs 50,000VND).
