Answer: Long Pham This is common case in Vietnam. Hotels, Halong overnight boats must take passports of their guests to make declaration to police at the first night. However, some 4, 5 star hotels, boats just need your passports for a while and give them back to you right away. It will be much convenient if you've got a copy of the passport to give hotels or boats and keep your original one Question: Traveler, International What happen if my booking is not shown on hotel's check in system?
